At Shifa Centre, our Islam 101 Class is designed to provide foundational knowledge to help you thrive in your faith. This specially crafted class covers all the basics and equips you with the tools to deepen your understanding and practice of Islam in a supportive and encouraging environment.

The Six Articles of Faith

In Islam, there are six fundamental beliefs that every Muslim is expected to accept and uphold. These core beliefs form the foundation of Islamic theology and guide the practice of faith in daily life.

  1. Belief in Allah (God)
  2. Belief in Angels (Mala’ikah)
  3. Belief in the Holy Books (Kutub)
  4. Belief in the Prophets (Nabi and Rasul)
  5. Belief in the Day of Judgment (Yawm al-Qiyamah)
  6. Belief in Qadar (Divine Decree)
